I've decided that the street I have my Dutch class on is one of the strangest streets in the entire world. I usually walk there from either Prins Hendrikkade (on Monday) or Centraal Station (on Thursday). On my way, I pass an Argentinean restaurant, the Dutch Pancake House, a coffeeshop, some croissanteries (yum), a youth hostel, some hotels, a vintage clothing shop, some convenience stores, some windows, a law office, a smartshop, some cafes, and the Scientology church before getting to the UvA building where I have class. I am not very good at Dutch, but today I said "Goedemiddag" to the cashier at the grocery store, and she said it back! It was happy.
