This weekend I went on an IES trip to Apeldoorn (a city in the center of The Netherlands) and Nationaal Park De Hoge Veluwe. On Saturday morning our first stop was Paleis Het Loo in Apeldoorn. We went on an awesome audio tour of the interior. Then we walked around in the beautiful gardens. Later that afternoon we walked around Apeldoorn, which was full of shops (most of which closed at five). We found a crazy spinning park toy at a park, and all seven of us got on it once. It spun really fast! At six we went to the restaurant were we had a delicious 3 course, 3 1/2 hour dinner! I had a the vegetarian salad, the vegetarian entree, and dessert.
