the taco shop

this thanksgiving, i'm thankful i'm getting over one of the worst colds EVER.  it is great.  today, Joy, Kathleen, Robin, Stewart, Betsy, Rob, Yuan and i went out for Mexican food!  that's right, in Amsterdam.  the place is called The Taco Shop.  we went there because we were told it was the most authentic Mexican food available in Amsterdam, and it didn't disappoint.  I had a vegetarian burrito, which was delicious (and big!).  After dinner, we went to Leidseplein, where my friends went to the Oliebollen stand for pastry-type things called bollen (side note: i just found out that oliebol literally means "oil ball"  hahahaha).  Everything in Leidseplein was lit up; it was festive and happy.
